approach. Our Consultants have many years of experience in delivering Service Management and Help Desk

Specific and relevant experience is based on HP's Service Desk, HP Service Manager and HP AssetCenter. We have

now added Service-now, the recently launched ITIL based Service Management application, to our portfolio of skills.

 

Mike Bush, John Laxton, Nigel Bell, Ruth Porter and Mike Beale are the core team of TeamUltra.

 

Mike Bush is a highly experienced IT professional with in-depth experience of Service

Management (ITIL) and HP products. Mike's 30 year career started with ICL (now Fujitsu) and

continued with a Service Management software and consultancy company - Ultracomp

(now Fox IT). Most recently delivered training courses and consultancy services on HP

Service Manager. Currently working on global implementation of HP Service Desk.

 

John Laxton is a highly experienced IT professional with in-depth experience of Service

Management (ITIL) and HP products. John's 20 year career started with Lincolnshire County

Council as a support technician and continued with a Service Management software and

consultancy company - Ultracomp (now Fox IT). Most recently delivered training to HP

customers in Bulgaria and Belgrade. Currently working on Service Manager project in Scotland.

 

 

 

Nigel Bell is an IT professional with over 15 years of experience and has gained a wealth of

both technical and service delivery knowledge from working as part of a group of highly

experienced Service Management consultants. The breadth of tasks involved in his various

roles has resulted in Nigel becoming skilled in HP products, Oracle database administration,

UNIX shell scripting and Perl and Java programming along with  a good grounding in UNIX,

Windows and network administration.

 

 

 

Ruth Porter is an IT professional with over 30 years experience of Service Management and is

currently rated as number 1 in the world by the users of the HP Service Desk Forum for the quality

of her knowledge and insight into the use of HP Service Desk. Ruth holds the Managers

Certificate in Service Management (Distinction) and the itSMF BS15000/ISO20000 Consultant's

Certificate. Ruth has been responsible for delivering software solutions, implementation and

consultancy in service management for many customers, ranging from public sector to

multinational corporations.

   

Mike Beale has been involved with Service Management for over 15 years. Mike was part of

the Ultracomp management team that embraced the philosophy and principles of the IT

Infrastructure Library. Ultracomp became the first private company to offer training in the

Manager's Certificate and also became a founding father of the itSMF (IT Service Management

Forum). Ultracomp is now the leading independent provider of ITIL based training.
